Kargil War – A Tribute to Indian Soldiers
The Kargil War was fought between India and Pakistan in 1999 in the Kargil region of Jammu & Kashmir. The conflict began when enemy forces occupied strategic high-altitude positions along the Line of Control, posing a serious threat to national security.
In response, the Indian Armed Forces launched a determined operation to reclaim the occupied peaks. Despite extreme weather conditions and difficult terrain, Indian soldiers displayed extraordinary courage, resilience, and sacrifice. After weeks of intense fighting, India successfully regained control of the territory, marking a significant victory.
The Kargil War stands as a symbol of bravery, patriotism, and the unwavering spirit of the Indian Army. It reminds us of the sacrifices made by our soldiers to protect the nation’s sovereignty and inspires future generations to honor and remember their legacy.

Box Cricket is a shorter and exciting form of cricket played in a compact turf area, designed for fast and energetic gameplay. At Kargil Park, we offer a premium Box Cricket experience where teams of 5 to 8 players can enjoy quick matches, friendly competition, and fun-filled moments with friends and family.
Rules
👥 5–8 players per team
⏱️ Match usually 5–10 overs per side
🚫 No running between wickets (runs based on shots/zones)
❌ Ball hitting net directly = OUT (based on rules)
🔄 All players get a chance to bat/bowl
🏆 Team with highest score wins
Pickleball
Pickleball
Pickleball is a fun and fast-growing sport played on a small court using a paddle and ball. At Kargil Park, it is enjoyed in both singles and doubles formats (2–4 players), making it a perfect activity for all age groups to stay active and have fun.
Rules
👥 Played as Singles (2 players) or Doubles (4 players)
🏓 Serve must be underhand and go diagonally into the opposite court
🚫 The kitchen area (near the net) cannot be used for volleys
🔁 Ball must bounce once on each side before volleys begin
❌ Fault if ball goes out or into the net
🏆 Points are scored only by the serving team
